Cocofiber is a natural fiber extracted from the outer shell of coconuts. Cocofiber is a fibrous material found between the hard shell, inner and outer layers of coconuts.
Cocofiber is made from 100% natural ingredients so it does not become moldy even if watered many times and does not damage plants because it contains 18% potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium and other mineral content which is good for plants.
Cocofiber is used as a foam substitute for mattresses, planting media, brooms and can be processed into rope and doormats.
Cocofiber has a high lignin content so the cellulose content is low, so it is resilient, strong and very durable. The extraordinary lightness of the fiber is caused by the voids that arise from the drying sieve cells. The best grade fibers are light in color, golden yellow (fiber from raw coconuts) or brown (fiber from mature coconuts).
